3 Tips For A Better Work Atmosphere

If you work the average 9 to 5 job, you spend most of your day at work than you do at home. This means the tone of your work environment not only frames how your work day is going to go, but also how your day in general will go.

Numerous studies have found that the work environment is the most important factor that contributes to overall employee satisfaction. Aside from employee satisfaction, work atmosphere can also affect job performance. Poor work atmosphere can not only slow down productivity, but it can increase unwillingness to work well with others, weaken work ethic, and increase the thought of resigning from the organization. However, in positive work atmospheres, not only does productivity increase, but people are more likely to make less mistakes. So what separates a good work environment from a bad one?

Team Unity

Positive work atmospheres will almost always have a strong sense of team unity. What does team unity look like? Examples of a team unity include but are not limited to participating in team-bonding activities willingly, celebrate each others’ birthdays or other big life events, etc. When you feel like you are not just working for yourself, but for other people that you care about, you’re more likely to want to perform better.

Effective Communication

There is a very important difference between communication and effective communication. Organizations that have effective communication are not only perceptive to whatever message is sent to them, but also take action based on whatever the received message is. After this, the receiver will then communicate with the message sender to continue the never-ending communication loop. Effective communicators also deliver messages with the applicable and appropriate tone needed. By ensuring messages are clear while also being delivered in a direct yet pleasant manner, teams are less likely to miscommunicate or resent each other.

Recognition

There’s no greater catalyst of positivity than recognition. When supervisors or even peers take the time to reflect and note the accomplishments of one, it tells that person that their work is not unnoticed. In fact, it tells that person that they are being observed and acknowledged for putting extra effort into something. By receiving recognition, employees are more likely to want to continue their efforts to keep working hard. For those who do not receive recognition while others do, perhaps that individual will hold themselves accountable and work harder in order to meet the work ethic of others. Positivity, like negativity, is contagious, and recognition is a great way to spread it throughout your work atmosphere.

If you notice that your workspace is missing one or more of these components, don’t fret! All of these can be kickstarted by your efforts to improve your work atmosphere! By setting an example for others, you are already increasing your chances of improving your environment. Generally, people want to like the place they work in. You may be surprised on how much your fellow peers will appreciate you taking initiative!

How to Let Go of Fear and Start Trusting the Process

A motivated, determined mindset at the beginning of an exciting new journey is typical. You’re about to change your life, what is there not to be excited about? But, with instant gratification so readily expected, many people fall off when it is not received. However, many of our goals are long term and therefore will require a long term effort.  Let go of your fears and start trusting the process.

Meditate

Regardless of what your goal is, meditation will help you get rid of your anxieties, live in the moment, and put your trust in the process. The pains and fears you may experience throughout the process may seem detrimental, but that’s usually a conclusion of your mind. “The greater part of human pain is unnecessary. It is self-created as long as the unobserved mind runs your life”-Eckhart Tolle. Meditation will fix your perspective so those detrimental moments will appear a lot less harmful.

Ask for Help

You may be working on your own consciousness or goals, but that doesn’t mean you can’t talk to other people. If you’re struggling with your goals, whether professionally, personally, mentally or physically, you must reach out for help when you need it. It will help you through tough times that are confusing and overwhelming. Become the beginner. Let go of old habits early in the process.

Stop Doubting

Self doubt is the enemy to progress. It eats away at your goals and harms your progress. That’s obvious though. How do you fix it? Well, you can’t just switch it off. But, when you notice yourself doubting your progress, your patience, your path, stop yourself and think positively. If you practice this continuously, you’ll eventually create a habit of positive thinking.

Face Your Fears

No, you don’t have to go on a haunted hayride or sit in front of a taunting clown. But you do have to put yourself out of your comfort zone. Don’t let your fears and anxieties of what people will think, what will happen, or what your parents are going to say stop you from reaching for what you want. Most of those made up situations are just that—made up. If you teach yourself to push past those anxieties, regardless of their presence, you’ll experience greater progress.

The Unknown is Your Friend

This is the best part. The process is an undefined path—you really don’t know where it’ll take you. You may have an idea of where you want it to go (maybe you’re trying to lose 10 pounds or tone up your physique.) But, the little victories along the way may change your goal completely. Maybe you lost 5 pounds of fat, but now you want to add some muscle mass, so you gain back that 5 pounds. If you asked the you at the beginning of the process, regaining weight would’ve mortified you. But, you trusted the process, fell in love with the unknown, and are continuing to trust the process again. It’s a never ending cycle of progress.

You Are In Control

Fear happens. We are human. The emotions that arise naturally are a product of our chemical brain makeup. But, what can change is how we react to those emotions. When you get fearful of where something is heading, remember that those anxieties are just a fabrication of your thoughts. Instead, think about what you can be thankful for presently, and those fearful thoughts will subside.

Flexibility

Obviously we all need a plan. A process wouldn’t even begin if there was no plan to make the process happen. But, when we’re faced with situations you didn’t think would happen, you need to make sure that you react in a proper way. Let’s take working out for example. You have this great plan to get into shape. Maybe you go to the gym 5 days a week, eat healthy, and see adequate results. But, you begin to feel a pain in your hamstring. You either ignore the pain and stick to your plan (and most likely hurt yourself worse) or understand that the process requires flexibility and let your leg heal. That doesn’t mean your plan needs to go completely out the window, it just need a little detour.

If you follow these steps, you’ll be on a path to a rather successful outcome. But, remember, there is no instant gratification here. This is going to be a habit-forming and life-changing experience you won’t want to rush.

Supermarket Advertising: Branding

As a business owner, ask yourself, “what do I want out my advertisements?”.  If you are looking for quick, one time sales, supermarket advertising isn’t the platform you want. You may get one here and there, but for the most part, it doesn’t work like that.

What you want is good branding to convert those one time sales into life long clients. These are the goals of a company that focuses on the bigger picture, the long haul, and becoming self sufficient.

Let’s talk about how supermarket advertising is an effective branding tool for any business.

Guaranteed Exposure

Advertising in a supermarket is great for your branding because of its guaranteed exposure. Everyone in town goes to their local supermarket; your ad is sure to be seen by anyone who comes into the supermarket. This isn’t even the best part about our program.

Repetition

Ask yourself, how many times does your household go to the supermarket a week? Whether it is for a big shopping list, or to quickly grab some needed ingredients, or just a gallon of milk. People tend to go to their local supermarket 2 to 3 times a week. That is 8 to 12 times a month! That means your ad is constantly being exposed to your local audience. Repeated exposure calls for long term branding, implanting your brand in their heads subconsciously.

Targeting

This is the icing on the cake when it comes to what we offer you. All of our supermarket programs are built around precise targeting. This means you do not have to worry about their ad getting to the right people. Your target market is bound to shop at their local supermarket.

Branding  is important to every business. Make it a priority for yours. With our supermarket advertising your branding will be taken to another level. With constant repeated exposure to your local audience, you are bound to become the most well-known business in your community.

Contact us to find out how you can become an exclusive advertiser in your community!

Four Reasons Business Cards are Necessary

Ahh, business cards. The small pieces of paper that are the most basic yet most valuable part of a business’s brand. They’re not only inexpensive, but they’re easily distributable, portable, and informative. Building a business, or growing a business, is like building or adding on to a house. You need to start with the foundation, otherwise the rest will eventually fall through. The foundation in your business? Branding. The best way to brand, market, promote, advertise your business? Business cards.

You can’t get more personal

Sending your contact information to a potential client or partner via e-mail or Linkedin is effective in most cases. But, it’s still impersonal. It’s simple—there are no forms of digital connection that equally compare to in-person exchanges. And, even though it may seem otherwise, not everyone owns digital devices. Even for those that do have phones or tablets, it often takes too much unnecessary time to exchange phone numbers or e-mails when one firm handshake and business card exchange can do the trick. Get personal!

Your business cards are your brand

You’re presenting the first impression of your business to your client, potential hire, or partner when you hand them your business card. Why does that matter? Well, would you want to do business with someone who hands you a piece of ripped out notebook paper with a scribbled 000-000-0000? Or, would you rather do business with a company that hands you a pristine, sleek, and professional business card with all their information, location, and social media information? You may not realize it, but the impression you give from your business card can easily determine the outcome of your connection.

Creativity equals extra promotion

Business cards are intended to introduce your business and eventually create a sale. But, just because you are handing the card to one person doesn’t mean it isn’t being shared with more. Often, creative and unique business cards will be shared with coworkers, family members, and friends. So, your initial promotional purpose is multiplied! Take this divorce lawyer’s cards for example.

Prime accessibility

If you e-mail someone your contact information, or send it via a Linkedin message, you’re more than likely going to face an issue at one point. Either the connection will fail, the message won’t send, or the person on the other line doesn’t have enough service to open your message. One thing that doesn’t depend on internet accessibility? Business cards! No matter when you hand them out, day, night, weekends, holidays, they are always available for information.

You may be more of an internet-type of person, but the truth is, business cards are still as necessary as ever. If you want personal or professional growth, or even to stay relevant, you’re going to need to get yourself and your business some cards. Luckily, there are some places, like us, that make designing your business cards basically effortless—and on brand. Bottom line, if someone asks you for your business card, and you don’t have one, you’ll immediately lose their respect and most likely their business.

Take A Step Towards Your Fears!

What holds you back? What stops you from getting what you deserve?

FEAR.

The good thing is its all in your head. The hardest part about doing something is starting it. Your mind fogs your judgement with self doubt and fear, walking you down a path of failure with NO CHANCE at succeeding. It is ok to take on new challenges and fail, only if you are learning from your failures and not giving in to your fear of failure.

The Fear of Failure

Containing yourself within the walls of comfortability will be the demise of your aspirations. You fail before you even try, and that is the worst kind of failure. Being afraid of pursuing a goal that puts you in your comfort zone will halt your growth in every way you can think of. This where people get confused. Failure is NEEDED in your life. You NEED it to grow. If you stay in your comfort zone your whole life, you won’t learn anything new, you will never try new things, and you will never prosper.

Risk Vs Safe

In life we are faced with many life altering choices. It usually comes down to taking a risk, the unknown, or going with the norm, the comfortable, the known. Of course, the people who never grow with their life experiences always choose the safe route.

Take The Step

The first thing you should do is want to take the step. Continue on whatever path you choose, and know that it is OK to fail, it is OK to fall, it is OK to lose. It is what you do after that determines your character. Taking the first step towards facing your fears already puts you ahead of the people who aren’t even trying! Get up and face your fears!

The Importance of a Sale

Sales are everything to a business. Without sales, you can be certain you will fail. Finding what works for generating sales at your company is key to your success.  According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, the 28 million small businesses in the United States account for 54% of all U.S. sales.  Generating sales is no easy task and there is no one-size-fits-all solution to increasing sales for your business.  There are many strategies, however, to increase your customer base.  The way you generate sales will ultimately depend on many factors, such as your business, industry, and location.

Make The Call and Be Personable

At inMark Media, we have done a fantastic job of creating a large customer base throughout the United States via outbound calling.  Outbound calling has never been an easy task and it has gotten harder over the years.  However, business owners still pick up their phones and as soon as the chance is given, our sales team makes sure to create a lasting relationship with each customer.

We build one-on-one relationships with our customers from the moment we step into their office to sign a contract. We listen to their needs and do our best to satisfy as many of them as we can by providing customized advertising and marketing strategies. We make sure to give each customer the same treatment whether they spend one dollar or one million.

By utilizing these two sales methods, we have created long-lasting, successful, and fruitful business partnerships. However, building customer relationships always comes at a large expense.  You must be ready to invest your time and resources into your customer relationships.

Be Innovative

The use of traditional sales methods can help you generate sales. However, you must not forget that we are in a time where technology governs and is very much a part of our daily lives.  Therefore, don’t forget to take advantage of modern-day technology in your efforts. You will attain a larger reach and customer base, and are able to communicate in unique ways.

inMark Media uses its innovative resources to attain a larger reach via search engine optimization and social media platforms.  Since customers don’t have to travel to a physical location, the potential to reach millions is attainable.

The approach used is very different when trying to attain and retain customers using online sales.  You will not be able to create a personal relationship with each client since the potential client base is so large.  However, you can build customer relationships by being transparent, honest, creating a customer-centered and user-friendly website, having clear contact information and most importantly excellent customer service.

Converting Using Websites

When thinking of your website, make sure to see it as a sales funnel.  It’s very likely that a potential customer will buy something the first time they visit your website. Therefore, you must focus on providing as much information as possible. Potential buyers who are first visiting your website is similar to the top of the sales funnel.

Oftentimes, you may have many prospects coming in, these are also at the top of your sales funnel.  As you move prospects through the funnel, they turn into leads. You must pay close attention and take care of your leads to pull them even further into your sales funnel. At the end of the day, the goal is to turn your leads into paying customers.

For example, many companies are offering free help or services to bring in customers and collect information, contact services and then at the end of the trial period offering continued assistance for the regular or discounted rate.

Once you receive a prospect’s email address, they are a lead. Once you have a lead you must continue to foster the relationship by offering additional information to bring them back to the website.  The goal should always be to drive a large volume of prospects into your sales funnel. At the bottom of the funnel, invite your leads to become customers. Use the tools and employees at your disposal to accomplish your sales goals.  At inMark Media Group, we are always here to help establish your website and provide you the tools necessary to increase sales.  For more information, contact us via email at info@inmarkmg.com or give us a call at 844-INMARK-1.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Supermarket Advertising vs. Our Competitors

You may have heard of supermarket advertising before this blog, but you’ve never seen it utilized how we use brand bars. Traditional advertising like the use of register tapes that no one cares to look at, or a TV ad you may be lucky enough for people to watch, are OK, but are not the BEST.

Our products go above and beyond the status quo of supermarket advertising. Each one of our products focus on strategic placement that generates exposure, targets your local audience, and is seen repetitively by your target audience. Check out how we differ from the rest.

Register Tapes

How many times have you stopped and called the number behind your receipt? Hardly, if you do. Well these have become less utilized the more fast paced our lives become. No one cares for an ad on the back of a receipt when they are focused on the actual contents of it. And, unless you’re buying groceries for a party and may want to return something later, you’ll most likely throw that receipt in the trash.

Well this is why brand bars are a better investment! You can’t throw out a grocery divider, but you do have to pick it up and place on the lane belt. Our ads are sure to catch the eyes of people waiting on line. With a talented team of designers, our ads look professional and clean. This means your target audience will not stray away from an unprofessional and cluttered ad, but may be more inclined to give you a call!

TV Ads

People nowadays hardly watch TV, most people are gravitating towards streaming services that don’t provide much ads. But! There are some people who still flip through channels, and yes FLIP. How many people do you know stay on a channel after their show goes to commercials? Maybe the people who are occupied doing something else. Whatever the case may be, your commercial isn’t guaranteed viewers, its guaranteed space.

On the other hand, our brand bars can’t be changed for another one. And if it is, they are all compiled of the same ads! The brand bar guarantees you repeated exposure to your target audience. Everyone in your community goes to the supermarket for their food, why not advertise in the most visited space in your community?

Billboards

Yes billboards are huge! Yes billboards can be seen by many! And yes it’ll look very pretty… but! You don’t know exactly who you are targeting. Additionally, people are driving by your billboard, you can’t just stop on the highway and call the number on a billboard. The passenger driver might not even be the person you want to target, and how will they know if the driver needs your service?

Which brings me back to our brand bar. People standing on line look for something to set their eyes on. An ad that catches their eye is a potential lead! Now, the first day they might not call you, but a month down the line when they may need your service, they’ll remember your ad and give you a call.

Next time you are looking for a good place your ad, choose inMark. We GUARANTEE EXPOSURE, REPETITION, and YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE. Contact us and we can talk about how to grow your business through us!

Utilize Facebook Advertising!

Picture this, you just spent 30 minutes looking for a leather jacket on your phone. You didn’t find anything you like so you start browsing through your Facebook news feed. You spot an ad that you think is directly targeted to you because it was a leather jacket the caught your attention.

Well it was targeted to you. Someone handling that Facebook ad specified their target market to reach your device. And you clicked on it and continued to buy your desire jacket! Everyone wins.

Flexibility

As a business owner it would be smart to utilize this kind of advertising to get the best return on investment. Using Facebook ads, you are able to manage your daily limit spent on advertising and update your ads as you please. So, if one is not working, you can try another. With plenty of different ways to make your ad unique, the possibilities are endless.

With so many ways to create your ad, it can also be confusing. If you don’t know what you’re doing you may as well throw your money out the window. It is difficult to create an ad that generates a return on investment that is beneficial to your business.

Setting Goals

Or maybe, you don’t need actual sales. What if you just want some reach, or awareness of your brand. Facebook allows you to choose goals you’ve set yourself within the list they offer. Divided into 3 main categories, awareness, consideration, and conversion. Choose what you want your ads to focus on and continuously test them.

Pictures Attract

Witty, attention-catching headlines and text can only do so much. People like to be enticed with visuals. Whether it is a still, or motion graphic, a visual will likely be the missing piece to a good ad.

This is where WE can help You! Contact us to manage your Facebook ads and for any other agency services you may need.

Why You Should Like to Sweat

Our bodies are made to sweat. You can sweat doing any activity. Whether it is walking, running, eating hot food, or even getting a little too excited about the topic of conversation.

Some people sweat more than others, these people will break a sweat by putting clothes on. But others, have to work hard for that sweat and that is even better because they are exerting their body for it.

However it is that you sweat, don’t be grossed out by it. As long as you shower after, sweat is very good for you. Take a look at some of the benefits of sweating!

Get Rid of Toxins

Had a long weekend of drinking and partying? Too much to eat? Sweating can replace the detox plan you initially thought of doing. There is nothing more natural than releasing toxins through the power of sweating out of your pours.

Regulate Body Temperature

Why else do you think we sweat when we’re hot? Eat a Peruvian puff pepper and see how much you sweat. Sweating prevents us from overheating anytime our body temperatures rise. This could be from working out, hot weather, or hot food. If we didn’t sweat, we would easily get dizzy, and/or lose consciousness. Worst case scenario, you are dehydrated and not sweating, you’re more likely to get a heat stroke.

Feeling Under The Weather?

We all get sick, and most of us rush to take antibiotics or other prescribed medicines. Ever hear someone telling you “just sweat it out”? It is because sweat carries some antibiotic agents that can rid your body of invaders.

That Feel Good Feeling

After working out and sweating with the proper exertion your body releases endorphins that make you feel amazing after a good sweat. You feel a quick rush flowing through your body after a good sweat and you’ll be even happier knowing you did something that wasn’t sitting on the couch watching tv.

Poppin’ Zits!

Open up your dirty pores through sweating to release the bacteria on your face that causes pimples. Once you’ve finished sweating, be sure to clean your face! If you don’t then you’re just creating more zits, you don’t want that now, do you?

Learn to Practice Mindfulness

Sometimes, we get so caught up with completing tasks and meeting deadlines that we don’t take the time to appreciate our progress. If you know that you are the type of person to rarely take time out of your week to devote to yourself, you may want to consider small ways to implement mindfulness into your work day.

What is Mindfulness? According to mindful.org, “Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us”. By focusing on mindfulness, specifically within the workplace, you can both de-stress and remain productive. The following tips will help you recharge so you can get even more done.

Focused Breathing

When you transition between tasks, practice a breathing exercise. Focused breathing will not only provide more oxygen to your brain, but will also ease your mind and clear it from your many racing thoughts. Don’t know a breathing exercise? Inhale, hold, and exhale for one count of four each. Once you done that, repeat the process but add another count of four until you reach 16 beats. This exercise really makes you pay attention to your breathing.

Unplug When You Can

At work, it’s almost mandatory to use technology in some sort of capacity. Whether it’s designing or answering emails, odds you are you are likely to spend the majority of your day on the computer. While technology has advanced our form of communication and increased efficiency, it’s important to use everything in moderation. When walking to meetings, eating lunch, or even commuting to work, try to refrain from using technology and use that time to pay attention to your body in the moment. Notice your breathing patterns, listen to your heart beat. Do your best to think in the moment.

Take a Walk– Not a Hike!

In between tasks, don’t be afraid to get up and walk around your office, building, or nearest parking lot. Pay attention to the pace, the stride, and the feel of your walk. Play around with these factors as well to add some variety. Small things like this may seem silly, but they will give you an overall relaxed piece of mind that will reset your focus and improve productivity and mood.

By practicing these simple actions, you will practice more mindfulness in your day. Do so, and it will result in a more relaxed and stress-free state.

Recipe to a Great Ad: Location, Traffic, And?

When a small business has a goal to attract local markets, it can sometimes struggle with knowing exactly where that market is. Yes, it is local, but local can be a pretty broad word. Consumers’ behaviors can change weekly, if not daily, so it may be hard to predict the actions and locations of a small business’s target market.

However, one thing that remains constant in essentially every demographic across most markets? The need for food and the need to go food shopping. There is nothing more central in local markets than the neighborhood supermarket. Supermarkets give businesses, basically, all the key ingredients to a beautiful recipe: the location, the consumer traffic, all that’s missing? Exposure!

Supermarket advertising is the most effective form of localized brand advertising. It distinguishes companies and brands from nonlocal or even local competition. The continuous advertising repetition and exposure creates a consumer/company brand loyalty that is strictly incomparable to any other form of advertising.

Need more proof?

1. The repetitive nature of supermarket advertising creates a subconscious yet strong brand/consumer connection.

The average supermarket shopper visits the grocery store about 2.2 times per week. That equates to, almost, 3 exposures of your ad per customer per week. At 3 exposures per week, there is very little room for the costumer to not notice your ad or brand.

2. Consumer’s prolonged shopping experience means more time exposing your brand to your target market. (A lot more than a 30 second commercial or newspaper ad would.)

The average supermarket shopper spends around 41 minutes at the supermarket—per trip. 41 minutes, at 2.2 times per week, means your company and brand will have an average exposure time of 90.2 minutes per costumer every week.

3. Supermarket shoppers are 90% more likely to visit the same supermarket year round than they are to visit multiple supermarkets.

Essentially, it’s almost guaranteed your target market will stay put. It’s just up to you if you’re ready for an investment that will multiple your brand recognition.

Even with the growth of technology, the average American is still visiting the grocery store on a weekly basis. Supermarket advertising guarantees repetitive, targeted and local exposure. If you’re a small business owner and want advertising that actually works and is exclusive to YOUR community, contact us at inMark Media and we can answer your questions or get you started!

Is Your Website Helping Your Business?

No matter how small your business is, a website is completely necessary. The power of word of mouth through consumers and their friends is a major tool for businesses. If a consumer has no way of referring your business to family and friends on their social media platforms or through digital channels, you’ll be missing out on sales! A lot of consumers won’t even trust a company that doesn’t have a website. So, if you’re about ready to present your company online, here’s what you should be including.

Who you are

What does your business stand for? What does your business do? What are your missions for your own business and the industry?

These are all questions that potential customers may have, and your website should clearly have the answers!

While part of your target market may be impulse buyers who don’t fret about the company they’re buying from, a lot of your market is going to do some research.

And, if you don’t have the answers for their questions, they might move on to your competition.

Location, location, location!

Whether you’re selling a product or marketing a service, the location of your operations is extremely important information for consumers.

Some may need their product by a certain date, others will want to come into your store location, even more may want to figure out shipping costs.

If a consumer can’t find your location anywhere, you may be losing sales without even knowing it.

Let’s talk

Your website needs contact information. Preferably, your website should include a section that customers can fill out without leaving the site.

This section may include customer name, email, and comment, so it is easy for costumers to fill out and for you to respond to.

But, DON’T link this part of your website to an e-mail you never check! Response time to customer concerns and questions is critical to landing the sale.

If you prefer to only include contact information and not an entire section on your website, then make sure your e-mail is professional. Don’t use your actual name in the e-mail address. Instead, use your company’s domain name or a variation of it.

AKA: instead of “Christina.Smith@gmail.com” use “YarnOfLove@gmail.com” (if your company’s name was Yarn Of Love, that is.)

Easy-to-read copy

Think of a website that you would use. The most impressive ones have very little copy on their home page.

While this may vary depending on industry, limiting the information you throw at your potential market will hopefully increase their site-time.

Leave them wanting more. Leave them curious and willing to search through your website. Avoid big words, sentences, and jargon that your potential market wouldn’t understand.

A feedback section

Consumers love reviews. Including a feedback/testimonial/review section will give the skeptical or on-the-edge consumer a bigger push to buy your product or use your service.

Something to do

Your website should include a call to action. If there is no “Sign-up,” “Buy now,” or “let’s chat,” etc. button anywhere on your front page, you’re already losing costumers.

Why?

When there is a button to press that will bring a consumer elsewhere, curiosity takes over, and they click on it.

If there is nothing to click and your website is essentially one page with all the essential information—you’re leaving little to the consumer’s imagination or curiosity.

More people are using the internet everyday. The number of daily users keeps growing, and will continue growing, as internet is integrated into more gadgets like watches and even toys. Don’t let your company fall back on the one aspect that can lead to monumental success. If you’re ready to improve or start your online presence, reach out to us at inMark Media. We would love to answer any questions or work on a strong responsive website for you and your business. Below is an example of our work for a local restaurant in Westchester.

Follow These 5 Steps For a Better Morning!

Personal growth is to success as water is to the ocean. The more water there is, the bigger the ocean is. The more personal growth you achieve, the more success you’ll achieve.

Personal growth is so great because no one else can do it for you. It is simply up to you to create a mindset that fosters self-development.

Yes, some people are born into money or a successful family, but success, especially in self-development, means more than monetary funds. Truly successful people find an impeccable balance between work, social, and familial life. However, it will take practice and habits to develop such success. Luckily, there are five habits you can begin instantly (and without dropping a single penny) that may lead you on a path to intrinsic and external success.

Make your bed

It’s the first task you complete that will positively affect your mindset for the rest of the day. It may seem like a small task that is too superficial or minuscule to make much of a difference, but in fact that’s completely untrue. Its minuteness is exactly what makes it so spectacularly powerful.

The Power of Habit author, Charles Duhigg attributes productivity with bedmaking. In his highly acclaimed book, he states “making your bed every morning is correlated with better productivity, a greater sense of well-being, and stronger skills at sticking with a budget.” One of the most important parts of a bed-making habit, is that it starts at the beginning of your day, Duhigg suggests. He calls it a “keystone habit,” because it creates a spiral effect of productive behavior.

In his famous address during the 2014 commencement at the University of Texas, Navy Seal William H. McCraven, addressed the crowd of graduates with a simply proposition: make your bed, and your will succeed. Specifically, he advised “If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed. If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another. And by the end of the day that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed.”

Eat breakfast

And… not just any breakfast. As the saying goes, this meal is the most important meal of the day—and for good reason.

Your body was just on complete mental and physical shutdown for 6-8 hours (or maybe less, if it’s a stressful week). When you wake up, you are essentially rebooting your entire system. Breakfast helps this transition. A nutritious balanced meal will give your body the energy it needs to begin the day. And not just your legs to walk to your car or your arms to blow dry your hair, it will give your brain energy to focus and concentrate throughout the day!

Meditate

Take a moment to be with yourself. A daily meditation habit can lead to reduced stress and anxiety, a clearer and more precise focus, and a greater sense of self-development. Completing a meditation session upon awakening allows your mind to flow free of distractions. It is one of the few moments in your day that will help you reconnect with your inner self and inner passion—the one thing that will determine success.

Write down three goals

Goal setting is an imperative part of personal growth. Without goals and proper planning, no true success will come to fruition (except for extremely lucky and rare situations.) Like meditation, writing when your brain is beginning to reboot will allow a clear flow of thoughts. It is the truest form of your self, before your thoughts are altered and steered by distractions.

Write down three things you are grateful for

The most important part of a successful life is to understand and be grateful for the present. Staying present in the moment will aid your ability to process situations thoroughly and realistically, while allowing you to understand the impact it will have on the future. After you write down your goals for the future, take a moment to think about three things you are grateful for in the moment. Try to think of different aspects of your life each day.

In the rare case you can’t think of anything new, try to think about why. Why are you struggling to think of special moments, people, or activities in your life, and what can you do to change that.

A lot of businesses do have websites, but are they appealing AND responsive? Websites aren’t just for computers anymore, customers have access to the web on their phones. Ensuring your website is responsive on more than one platform is a guarantee we abide by. On top of appealing and responsive, your website can be used as an ecommerce to sell without coming into contact with your customers! To the right is a website designed by our team for a local restaurant called Tesoro D’Italia Restaurant.

  • Social Media

Approximately 70% of Americans use social media, according to Pew Research Center. That is an untapped market if you aren’t already taking advantage of it. Supermarket Advertising: What You Get

It’s important to understand the type of result you gain from investing in Supermarket Advertising. It is not uncommon to hear the ‘doubters’ question how exactly Supermarket Advertising is effective. The problem with assuming its ineffectiveness lies in the misconception of the purpose Supermarket Advertising serves. Luckily, we’re here to break down those misconceptions and reveal the truth behind the effects of Supermarket Advertising!

Direct-Response Marketing

Odds are that when you ask people outside of advertising what kind of results a good ad should have, they will often describe the effects of direct-response. When you hear direct-response you think of conversion. A Direct-Response focused-marketer will want to offer something in exchange for something else. While conversions are typically higher with direct-response focused advertising due to the nature of the ad, it does not do well in bringing in the metrics for response-rate. The truth is that Direct-Response only taps into the consumers ‘buy’ mode. In reality, effective and efficient advertising taps into ‘buy’ mode, as well as awareness, branding, and others.

Brand Marketing

Brand Marketing is the sector in which supermarket ads are the most effective. The goal of a supermarket ad is not so much to sell, but to inform. When a company focuses on branding, they understand that the objective of the ad is to aid the client in choosing one company or individual over another. By utilizing Supermarket ads, the company or individual investing understands that they are making their services recognizable by having consumers repeatedly observing their ads in a space that they visit at least 2x a week. Then, when it comes time for the consumer to use a service or provider, the likelihood of choosing the Supermarket investor over their competition is higher because that consumer will have built a subconscious relationship with that provider. Branding brings overall awareness to a company which is vital for public relations, social media, and many other sectors within running a business.

As quoted by marketing expert Jason Falls, “Think of the two types of brand communications like this: Direct-Response Marketing helps people buy. Brand Marketing helps people choose.”

However, something worth noting is that Brand Marketing can also be used to get people to buy once you have established a relationship with the consumer where they chose you over others. Basically, you are more likely to get customer retention through Brand Marketing than with Direct-Response Marketing. Contact us at inMark Media and ask about our Supermarket Advertising opportunities near you! Space is limited!

Social Media: Starting A Campaign

Are you a small business owner attempting to develop your brand? Looking for different ways to haul in customers or leads? Unless you live under a rock, with no access to WI-FI then you have no excuse on at least familiarizing yourself with the different platforms of social media. Having a strong presence on social media may have been the deciding factor for a consumer who just chose your business over your competitor’s, because of your exemplary use of social media. As a small business you may see no need for a strong presence in social media, but the opportunities are endless. Grow your brand across several platforms to reach your target audience, create leads, and convert them into customers. Let’s go through some steps to get you started, of course if you don’t have the time to keep up with your social media accounts, we at inMark Media can handle them for you!

Step One

Decide on the platform that is best for the goals you set and the market you wish to reach. There are many different platforms to use. You are not limited to one and one only, but try to stay as consistent as possible on the platforms you decide to use.

Facebook:  “Facebook remains the most popular social media platform”. This is important to know when you want to utilize a platform for its reach. Although 62% of Facebook users are 65 or older, you can still implement a good strategy for ad utilization if you’re target market is in the ages between 30 to 64. Everyone from your teenage children to your grandparents use Facebook.

Instagram: If you were really under that rock, you wouldn’t know that Facebook purchased Instagram only to expand ever more. Instagram is a great platform for posting visuals and engaging content. If you know this the kind of content you will be posting, go with the sure platform and post on Instagram.

Twitter: Twitter is in its own league. Doesn’t have the same clout as Facebook or Instagram, but can still hold its own. With more millennials using this platform, the right tweet can catch fire and reach the timeline of many users at once. With the option of posting a tweet using words, photos, videos, articles, polls, and more, being versatile is your best asset. “32% of internet users aged 18 to 29 continue to use the service.”  Twitter has also become a place to catch up on news or trending topics, and starting your own hashtag.

LinkedIn:  This one isn’t for everybody. This how professionals can market themselves, or their business to other professional’s you think would be a great fit for your company. If your goal is to partner up with another business, LinkedIn is a great way to get your name out in the professional world.

Step Two

Completing your profile for whichever platform(s) you are using is vital for the first impression a lead gets when clicking on your page. This is where people go read your bio, see what you are about, check out your profile pic, and make their initial assumptions of your company. Is this company professional? Are they working towards something? Whatever it is, it is important to be consistent with your branding throughout the various platforms you use.

Step Three

You’ve chosen your platforms, signed up, and completed your bio…now what? You can start with inspecting the pages of your competitors. Find them on social media and see what they do good, what they do bad, and mold a campaign. A campaign consisting of strategic posts, timing, following, and engagement.

Step Four

You can have the most eye appealing page in the world, but if you don’t have the right followers viewing it doesn’t do anything for your business. Follow people you wish to do business with, powerful leaders and influencers in your field, people who follow your competitors, anyone who…

a) Post Content You Can Share With Your Followers

b) Have Some Interest In Your Service or Product

c) May Repost Your Content

Step Five

Find a balance between your posts. You may not be getting the results you want because of the timing of your posts. As well as the content you are sharing. Be sure to post quality content your audience will deem useful, funny, or witty, that they can engage with and/or share. Don’t spam your followers with content 24/7 about your business. Let it flow, like a conversation with another person. You wouldn’t want to talk about yourself the whole time right? Appeal to your audience and your customer engagement will rise.

Handling a successful social media campaign can be stressful. They take a lot of planning to execute correctly, plenty of creativeness, and knack for posting quality content. Allow us at inMark Media to handle the stress of branding on social media. Contact us today and tell us about your goals using social media!
